    David Lax co-authored 3D Negotiation (Harvard Business School Press) with HBS Professor James Sebenius. Mr. Lax is Distinguished Fellow of the Harvard Negotiation Project and was a Professor at HBS. He co-taught/teaches courses, including: Secrets of Successful Deal- Making and Strategic Negotiation at Harvard.


    He is the Managing Principal of Lax Sebenius LLC and he is considered one of the world’s foremost advisors in complex, high stakes negotiations, and investments for Fortune 500, UHNW families and governments. Recent projects include negotiating with his colleague William Ury on behalf of a Brazilian billionaire Abilio Diniz a mutually beneficial sale of Diniz’s company to a French company Casino to end a dispute/transaction that the Financial Times described "as one of the biggest cross-continental boardroom showdowns in history”. He also advised an energy company in negotiations with a newly elected anti-business government – the company’s stock price rose 25% when the deal was announced. His pro bono work includes contributing, through work with Nepalese parties, to the end the civil war in Nepal. More recently, he conceived and led a project funded by the Madison Initiative to help Republicans and Democrats in the area of national security to build coalitions across party lines.

    His Excellency is Minister/Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority “SAGIA”, appointed in April 2017. H.E. is also on the Board of Directors of Public Investment Fund “PIF”, which is the Sovereign Wealth Fund for the Kingdom. PIF has large investments in Softbank, Uber, Tesla and many other innovative companies. He is also Co-Chairman of Tayseer, the key Saudi Ministerial committee to secure and stimulate the investment environment for the private sector and to provide guarantees for the preservation of investor rights. Previous to SAGIA, was the CEO of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri); the Chief Alliance & Partnership Officer and Chief Product Development Officer at the Etihad-Etisalat Company (Mobily); the CEO of VIVA Bahrain; and numerous appointments at the Saudi Telecom Company (STC). He has served on the boards of numerous public and private sector organizations, and as the chairman for three major international telecom projects for various consortiums.


    H.E. Eng. Ibrahim is an alumnus of Harvard’s Program for Leadership Development, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electric Engineering from the King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).
