The Prime Minister, with the support and vision of Darden Restaurants and inpartnership with the US Asean Business Council, discussed investment opportunities in Malaysia, policies, and the macro and regional themes affecting investment and growth within Malaysia. During this interactive business meeting which included CEO’s from a wide range of industries, the Prime Minister highlighted Malaysia’s growing potential for development. He focused on the country’s plans to actively diversify the economy with value-added jobs in high technology, finance, biotechnology, and services.

The Prime Minister then held private meetings with IEA's CEO members and invited guests to advance projects of mutual interest.
